I am an OB Nurse for the last 2 years, working in a very small unit in South Georgia. I really enjoy being an OB Nurse. I feel for a moment in time I am able to care for a mother and baby with love, compassion, and knowledge. I changed from an ER Nurse to an OB Nurse shortly after my Daughter was born 2 ½ years ago. Needing a change due to burn out so of my four years as a nurse 2 in the ER and 2 as an OB Nurse. Now that she approaching 3 we are contemplating number 2, if I could just get my body right. When we trying the first time, I took clomid, we tried for four years before we got pregnant with our little girl. Now that I am thinking about our second I am taking Metformin, but can hardly stand the side effects. I am a second generation nurse; my mother is a
Geriatric Nurse, which is her blog where she discusses issues that arise in geriatric nursing. I write OB Nurse to explore all issues surrounding reproductive health, issues, and infant care. I share photos that I have taken in
Kim’s Scrapbook.
I have entered this picture in another contest on a different blog, but just love the smile on my husband's face. He loves our baby girl so much! Five Minutes for Mom is hosting the contest sponsored by Skinny Dippers!

As for the Metformin, I actually liked that stuff. Only time in my life I had a normal digestive system... and that's all I have to say about that. ;o)
hi kim, tnx for visitng my blog.. im from the philippines. im still looking for a "yaya", nanny for my daughter. Its really hard here. There is no daycare centers that you can actullay leave the kids to go to work. Actually there is some, but i would trust my darling to them. There are trust worthy ones, but are very expensive. Its a good thing that my daughter goes to school 3 times a week. I only have to worry for the 2 more days. So did you join the build-a-bear constest? I posted the link so that you can join. Would you like to excahnge link? i'll add you to my blogroll.
